Last Epoch Season 5 Weaver Tree

Quick Answer

Collect missing Weaver Tree points first, then specialize around one reward goal. Seasonal encounter bonuses are useful only when you can reliably clear the extra difficulty they introduce.

Build your Last Epoch Season 5 Weaver Tree around the reward you are farming. Start with a point-unlock setup, then rebuild when the full point pool is available. For Rage of Morditas, the Season 5 core is Ubiquity of Rage; add Seekers of Ice and Blood only when you want the encounter-specific uniques or item subtypes and can handle a harder second phase, and take Portents of Blood when an extra Omen plus corrupted-item drops fit your goal.

This guide covers Season 5 as of October 8, 2026. Patch 1.5.2 fixes Weaver's Will progress from enemies killed during the Rage of Morditas gauntlet and removes an incorrect Nexus Weaver Tree point-icon tooltip. Use current in-game behavior instead of an older layout that assumes the previous gauntlet progress or tooltip behavior.

Season 5 nodes that change farming

Season 5 adds three Weaver Tree nodes tied directly to Rage of Morditas. Treat them as a focused package with real tradeoffs, not automatic points for every character.

NodeWhat it changesWhen to use itMain caution
Ubiquity of RageMakes Echoes more likely to contain Rage of Morditas encountersYour main goal is seeing and running more ritualsIt improves encounter access; it does not promise an encounter in every Echo
Seekers of Ice and BloodMakes Rage-specific uniques and item subtypes significantly more commonYou are targeting the encounter's exclusive reward poolEnemies in the second phase deal more damage
Portents of BloodReplaces one random second-phase enemy with a random Omen and adds a pile of corrupted items at the endYou want Omen access and corrupted items alongside ritual rewardsIt changes the second phase, so pay attention to the replacement enemy rather than treating the wave as routine
Rage of Morditas second phase

For a fresh or fragile character, Ubiquity of Rage is the clean starting choice. It increases access without adding the explicit damage penalty attached to Seekers of Ice and Blood. Add Seekers only after the second phase is already controlled: you should be able to finish the revived pack without losing the run to the added damage. Portents is a separate reward decision. Take it because you want its Omen and corrupted-item outcome, not because it is a universal power node.

Patch 1.5.2 also matters if you combine the seasonal encounter with Weaver's Will farming. Kills inside the Rage of Morditas gauntlet now grant the intended progress to Weaver's Will items. If you avoided wearing one there because progress appeared not to move, that specific behavior has been corrected.

Build the starter tree before a specialized tree

The full Weaver Tree has 53 available points. You earn them through Woven Faction ranks and by completing Woven Echoes. Faction progression supplies 13 points; the rest come from the relevant Echo completions. Do not spend Memory Amber repeatedly chasing a polished endgame layout while large parts of the tree are still locked.

A practical starter setup has one job: produce more opportunities to collect missing Weaver Points while still giving useful gear. Build around these functions:

  • Woven Fortunes makes Champions a source of Woven Echo drops.
  • Champion frequency supports that plan, including Champions that can appear with Exiled Mages through The Mage Bane.
  • Graveyard Prisons makes Tombs and Cemeteries valuable because they provide guaranteed Rune Prisons, adding Exiled Mage and Champion opportunities.
  • A modest Nemesis package gives useful early item chances while you finish the point pool.
  • Item Imprint slots should match the gear slot or item profile you are actively trying to improve.

Tombs and Cemeteries deserve priority during this phase. They can supply Woven Echoes, and their Weaver Idol drops can help cover character needs such as resistances. Check Rune Prisons instead of rushing past them, because the starter package turns those encounters into another chance at the Champions you are using for progression.

False Temple, Conquered Tower, and Unclaimed Trove serve different starter purposes. False Temple offers a dense, straightforward run. Conquered Tower supports Nemesis encounters. Unclaimed Trove offers Lost Caches, items, and crafting materials, but it must be used in Empowered Monoliths and pulls time away from Champion hunting in Tombs and Cemeteries. Pick the one that advances your immediate goal rather than imprinting all three without a plan.

Choose one farming configuration

Once the point pool is complete, respec with Memory Amber into one of the following packages. These are goal-based configurations, not universal rankings.

Rage of Morditas target farming

Use Ubiquity of Rage as the access node. Add Seekers of Ice and Blood when the target is a Rage-specific unique or item subtype. Add Portents of Blood when the Omen replacement and corrupted-item pile are useful to you. This configuration is the clearest Season 5 specialization because every selected node directly affects the seasonal encounter.

Do not keep Seekers allocated just because the reward sounds attractive. Its second-phase damage increase is an explicit cost. If deaths or forced retreats erase the extra opportunities, remove Seekers first and keep Ubiquity while improving the character. That preserves encounter frequency without the stated damage modifier.

General Echo and item farming

After the point-unlock phase, remove progression-only support when it no longer pays for itself and spend around the mechanics you will actually stop to complete. A broad setup can support Nemesis, Rift Beasts, Exiled Mages, Champions, and Loot Lizards, with Champions and Loot Lizards acting as recurring item sources.

Season 5 improves item imprints in three concrete ways: imprinted items drop around 20% more often from enemies and Echo rewards, around 40% more often from Lost Caches, and are much more likely to retain high-tier affixes from the imprinted item. That makes the item placed in each Imprint slot an important farming choice. Use a real upgrade target, not a random high-level item that does not match your build's needs.

Flexible Woven Echo Imprints fit this setup. Choose Conquered Tower for Nemesis, Nesting Grove for Rift Beast encounters, Lostwood Folly for added Woven enemies and Memory Amber, or Unclaimed Trove for Lost Caches and general materials. The best pair is the pair that supports the two mechanics you will consistently run.

Weaver's Will item farming

Take Prime Weaver when the objective is better Weaver's Will values: it rolls the amount twice and keeps the higher result. Woven Treasures adds a chance for Rare enemies to drop Weaver's Will uniques. The map plan then matters as much as the passive choices.

Build a nest with Lostwood Folly and Cemetery of Reweaving. Start from a Cemetery of the Erased, place a Lostwood Folly, follow it with a Cemetery of Reweaving, and continue the line. Fill open spaces around the Lostwood Folly Echoes with more Cemeteries of Reweaving. Lostwood Folly contains three Woven Bosses and adds Woven enemies to nearby Cemeteries; those Cemeteries add more Woven Boss opportunities and help return Memory Amber.

Lostwood Folly and Cemetery of Reweaving Echo nest

Because you are constructing the web yourself, Echo Imprints are secondary here. An imprinted Lostwood Folly can provide a starting point and save its purchase cost. An early Cemetery of Reweaving gives access to an altar for placing more Woven Echoes. Wear the Weaver's Will item whose progress you want during Rage of Morditas as well; patch 1.5.2 now allows kills in that gauntlet to contribute.

Exiled Mage and experimental-item farming

Center this configuration on Rune Prison access. Graveyard Prisons supplies guaranteed Exiled Mages in Tombs and Cemeteries, while Exiled But Not Forgotten can double an Exiled Mage encounter. Rune Prison Complex is the key Woven Echo Imprint because it concentrates the target encounter and is otherwise a rare, drop-only Echo.

Use Bloodline Glade as the second imprint when the extra Tomb and Cemetery emphasis has reduced your Rift Beast access and you still want Primordial Materials. Until Rune Prison Complex drops, run normal Echoes, prioritize Rune Prisons, and use the guaranteed spawns from Tombs and Cemeteries. The setup remains usable at lower efficiency before you can place that imprint.

Manage imprints and Echo Web resets

Sanctuary of Eterra in the Echo Web

Imprinting the same Woven Echo twice does not make it more likely to appear. Use two different Woven Echoes so both slots create value. Imprinted Woven Echoes are most useful near the earlier part of a web, before Shade of Orobyss spawns begin competing for space farther out.

Memories of the Observer turns normal Echoes into Echo Chains and opens more visible positions for imprinted content. Sanctuary of Eterra can reset the Echo Web when the desired imprint is absent. Season 5 adds an important limit: when Memories of the Observer is allocated, resetting with Sanctuary prevents the Echo Chains at the start of the new web from spawning with Woven Echoes at their sides. Do not expect a reset to create those side spawns immediately beside the starting chains.

Use this loop:

  1. Enter a fresh web and inspect the visible Echoes and chains.
  2. Run the desired imprinted Woven Echo when it appears.
  3. Continue through roughly the early ten-Echo area while imprint competition is favorable.
  4. If the target has not appeared and the remaining web does not serve another goal, use Sanctuary of Eterra to reset.
  5. Occasionally kill Shade of Orobyss when needed to maintain the Corruption level you intend to farm.

This is a search loop, not a guarantee. If you are already finding useful natural encounters, forcing constant resets may be worse than continuing the web. Nemesis farming is a good example: regular Echoes can supply enough encounters that you run normally, take Conquered Tower when it appears, and reset only after the early directions are exhausted.

Fix common Weaver Tree problems

If Rage of Morditas appears too rarely, confirm that Ubiquity of Rage is allocated before changing unrelated mechanics. The node raises encounter likelihood; a short dry streak does not prove it is inactive.

If the second phase suddenly becomes lethal, check Seekers of Ice and Blood. Its reward bonus comes with increased damage from second-phase enemies. Remove it before dismantling the rest of a functioning Rage setup.

If an imprint seems ineffective, confirm that the two slots contain different Woven Echoes. Duplicate imprints do not stack. Also separate Echo Imprints from Item Imprints: one influences which Woven Echo can appear, while the other influences item drops resembling the imprinted item.

If a fresh web does not place Woven Echoes beside its starting chains, that can be the intended Season 5 interaction between Memories of the Observer and a Sanctuary reset. Search the wider visible web instead of repeatedly resetting on the assumption that the first ring must contain the result.

If a Weaver's Will item gains no progress during a Rage gauntlet, make sure the game is updated to patch 1.5.2. That patch specifically corrected progress from enemies killed there. Do not use the old failure as a reason to remove the item from the seasonal encounter.

Finally, ignore the removed Nexus point-icon tooltip when judging whether points were awarded. Patch 1.5.2 removed an incorrect tooltip. Verify progress through the actual tree and completed Woven Echo state, then spend Memory Amber only when the new configuration has a defined farming target.
